Virginia Beach cops nab suspect in deadly Great Neck Road shooting

Virginia Beach, VA – A 21-year-old Norfolk man has been charged in the fatal shooting of a Newport News resident early Saturday on North Great Neck Road.

Police said Juelle Morton, 20, was found with multiple gunshot wounds around 2:14 a.m. in the 400 block. Morton was pronounced dead at the scene.

Evans is facing charges of second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Police have not released details on what led to the shooting.
