Virginia Beach Police Apprehend Fourth Suspect in Peele Court Shooting

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – In a recent update, the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) announced the arrest of a fourth suspect linked to the February 13 shooting on Peele Court, which resulted in serious injuries to an 8-year-old boy. This latest arrest marks a significant milestone in the investigation, bringing closure to the case with all suspects now in custody.

Jawuan Jefferies, a 21-year-old male from Chesapeake, faces multiple charges, including Aggravated Malicious Wounding, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Conspiracy to Commit Felony, and 24 counts of Maliciously Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling. Jefferies is being held in Chesapeake on unrelated charges.
