Virginia Beach police seek additional victims after indecent exposure arrest in shopping centers

Virginia Beach, VA – Police are asking for additional victims to come forward after the arrest of a 70-year-old man accused of multiple indecent exposures in the Great Neck and Hilltop areas.

Throughout August, Emergency Communications and Citizen Services received several reports of a man exposing himself at shopping centers in Virginia Beach. The Second Precinct Crime Suppression Squad launched an investigation, which identified Robert Mason of Virginia Beach as the suspect.

On September 13, officers arrested Mason. He is charged with four counts of indecent exposure, four counts of public masturbation, and one count of illegally parking in a handicap space.

Investigators said Mason was known to frequent several shopping centers, including London Bridge Plaza at 2356 Virginia Beach Blvd., Great Neck Shopping Center at 2110 Great Neck Sq., and Market Square Shopping Center at 2844 Virginia Beach Blvd.
