VIRGINIA BEACH, VAVirginia Beach Police announced the arrest of a local man after detectives executed a search warrant at a suspected illegal marijuana distribution business on Seahawk Circle last week, seizing a large quantity of drugs and a firearm.

Search warrant yields drugs, weapon, and THC products

On February 20, detectives with the Virginia Beach Police Department First Precinct Crime Suppression Squad (CSS), assisted by additional suppression units, carried out a search warrant in the 700 block of Seahawk Circle. Investigators said the location was believed to be operating as an illegal marijuana distribution business.

During the operation, detectives arrested Timothy Bruce Reagan Jr., 39, of Virginia Beach. Officers recovered approximately eleven pounds of marijuana, five ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, THC gummies, THC wax, and a firearm from the scene.

“Our goal is to disrupt illegal distribution networks”

Police charged Reagan with possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I/II controlled substance, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm while in possession of controlled substances.

A VBPD spokesperson said the operation highlights the department’s focus on curbing large-scale illegal drug sales in the community. “Our goal is to disrupt illegal distribution networks and ensure these dangerous substances do not reach our neighborhoods,” the department said in a statement.
