VW’s Skoda Auto to cut production next week -unions

Skoda Auto carmaker launches production of MEB battery systems in Mlada Boleslav

PRAGUE (Reuters) – Volkswagen’s Skoda Auto will cut production further next week as it struggles with component shortages, trade unions at the Czech carmaker said on Thursday.

Shifts will be cancelled in all three Czech plants, mostly affecting the production of Octavia and Enyaq models, the unions said in their weekly bulletin.
