WASHINGTON, DC – The Washington DC Metro Police Department is investigating after Washington Commanders rookie runningback Brian Robinson was shot multiple times during an attempted robbery in the city this weekend.

Robinson is currently hospitalized and reportedly in stable condition after being shot by an attempted car robbery, according to the NFL Network.

Early reports say that Robinson was shot in the lower body and is currently in stable condition. Robinson was drafted by the Commanders after a breakout season with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
