Watch: Bees Swarm Jersey Shore Beachgoers

CAPE MAY, NJ – A swarm of bees descended upon the beach in Cape May on Tuesday around 3:30 pm.  Beachgoers noticed a couple of bees flying around one man’s beach umbrella near Steger Beach, then an entire swarm landed on a nearby woman’s towel, following their queen.   A beekeeper was dispatched to safely remove the swarm without incident.   A beekeeper on scene said the queen was kicked out of her hive possibly and searching for a spot to create a new hive.
