COLUMBUS, OH – On Wednesday, a woman shoplifter turned violent when confronted by an employee at a grocery store on Stelzer Rd. The Columbus Police Property Crimes Bureau has released surveillance footage of the incident where the woman is seen to threaten the worker with a bottle of wine.
The suspect, upon being approached, turned irate and resorted to throwing several wine bottles at the employee.
She then proceeded to chase the employee around the store before making her exit. Anyone with information that could lead to the identification of the suspect is encouraged to contact Det. Abel at (614) 645-2159 or via email at kabel@columbuspolice.org.
