Waynesboro McDonald’s Hit by Late-Night Armed Robbery

WAYNESBORO, PA – Late into the night on Wednesday, the Waynesboro McDonald’s Restaurant on East Main Street fell victim to an armed robbery.

Employees reported that an unknown individual, brandishing a black semi-automatic handgun, stormed into the establishment.

He demanded cash from the registers and the night deposit before fleeing on foot, heading southbound across the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a young, stocky white male with blue eyes, standing approximately 5’10” in height. He was wearing a black hoodie and mask at the time of the robbery. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.

Waynesboro Police are appealing to the public for any information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the suspect.
