Westfield Resident Victim of Identity Theft

WESTFIELD, NJ – A resident of the 700 block of Knollwood Terr.  Recently came forward, reporting an instance of identity theft and fraud.

The report was made on Monday, October 17, around 3:20 PM.

Unknown individuals accessed the resident’s account with a financial institution. They made an unauthorized electronic transfer, moving a large sum of money. The funds were relocated to an account inaccessible to the victim, causing significant financial loss.
