Wilkes-Barr Man Arrested for Assaulting Elderly Man

Law enforcement officials responded to a harassment incident on Thursday at 29 East Main Street. The altercation involved Derek Reisinger, 31, of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and a 75-year-old male resident of Kingston, Pennsylvania.

Reisinger reportedly pushed the elderly individual to the ground and kicked him.

Upon police arrival, the victim confirmed the sequence of events, although no injuries were reported. Consequently, Reisinger was issued a citation for harassment following the victim’s information.
