Wilkes-Barre Man Arrested for Public Intoxication and Open Lewdness

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A 54-year-old man was arrested on Sunday evening for public intoxication and open lewdness after police observed him urinating in a public area on South Main Street. The incident occurred around 6:21 p.m. on September 8.

Wilkes-Barre City Police officers on patrol in the 15 South Main Street area witnessed John Wolfe, of Wilkes-Barre, engaging in the lewd act, visible to passing pedestrians and motorists.

Upon making contact with Wolfe, officers noted that he appeared to be highly intoxicated and deemed him a danger to himself.

Wolfe was taken into custody and transported to City Headquarters for processing.
