WILKES-BARRE, PA – A warrant arrest was executed on Wednesday by Wilkes-Barre City Police. Officers took Ricky Evans, 36, of Plymouth, PA into custody.
The incident transpired at approximately 2:44 PM. Officers on patrol identified Evans at 165 North Pennsylvania Avenue.
Law enforcement had prior knowledge of an active arrest warrant for Evans. The warrant was issued by the Luzerne County Sheriff’s Office.
Evans was approached and apprehended without incident. Following the arrest, he was transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility (LCCF).
