Wilkes-Barre Police Investigating Vehicle Theft

Wilkes-Barre, PA – On Monday, Wilkes-Barre City Police announced the investigation of a reported vehicle theft on South Franklin Street. The theft, involving a 2019 gray Audi sedan with Pennsylvania license plate LCV-2015, occurred between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The victim, an 89-year-old male resident of Wilkes-Barre, discovered the theft and promptly notified authorities. Officers responded to the call at 3:50 p.m. to gather information and initiate an ongoing investigation into the incident.
