WILKINSBURG, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on the morning of last Wednesday.
At 8:31 am, emergency services were dispatched to the 1300 block of Woodlawn Avenue following reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered an adult male with a stab wound to the neck. A suspect, also an adult male, was apprehended at the scene. The victim received immediate medical attention and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Homicide detectives are actively conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
