WILMINGTON, DE – Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that occurred inside a residence in the 500 block of East 6th Street, at approximately 3:07 a.m.
Officers located a 27-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound.
He was transported to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
This incident remains under active investigation. The Wilmington Police Department has released limited details but asks anyone with information about the incident to contact Detective Justin Wilkers.
The Wilmington Police Department Victim Services Unit and the Youth Response Unit are also available to provide support and counseling to those affected by such events.
