WILMINGTON, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested 20-year-old Angel Velazquez-Bedolla of Wilmington on multiple gun charges after a routine traffic stop early this morning.

At approximately 2:06 a.m., a trooper patrolling the area observed a blue Toyota Corolla committing several traffic violations while traveling northbound on South Market Street near Rogers Road. The vehicle was pulled over, and the trooper identified the driver as Velazquez-Bedolla.

A computer check revealed an active capias warrant for Velazquez-Bedolla, who was then taken into custody without incident. A subsequent consensual search of the vehicle uncovered a loaded firearm in the glovebox. Due to his age, Velazquez-Bedolla is prohibited from owning a firearm or ammunition.
