Winning Powerball ticket worth $50k sold in Manhattan

NEW YORK – The New York Lottery has announced that a third-prize winning ticket was sold for the May 3 Powerball drawing. The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball, and is worth $50,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven store located at 1239 2nd Avenue in Manhattan.

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on May 3 were 21, 26, 30, 45, 47, and the Powerball number was 23. Players are encouraged to check their tickets on the New York Lottery app, which provides a secure way to check for winning numbers.

The New York Lottery reminded players to check their tickets, as there are several different prize levels available. The New York Lottery advises winners to sign the back of their tickets and to contact the Lottery’s customer service center to arrange for claiming their prize.
