Woman Among Two Injured in Paterson Shooting

PATERSON, NJ – The Paterson Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the vicinity of West Broadway and Matlock Street on Monday, around 6:07 PM.

A 37-year-old woman from Paterson was found at the scene with a non-fatal gunshot wound and was immediately taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.

Shortly afterwards, a 35-year-old male from East Orange arrived at the same hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

The incident is still under investigation by the Paterson Police Department. Further details will be provided as they become available.
