Woman Arrested After Assault on Columbia Avenue

CUMBERLAND, Md. — A woman was arrested on Friday afternoon after allegedly assaulting an individual on Columbia Avenue, according to the Cumberland Police Department.

Police responded to the 600 block of Columbia Avenue at approximately 3:00 p.m. on August 16, following reports of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who claimed that Kiera Camaraza had thrown a chair at them, resulting in an arm injury.

Officers observed minor injuries on the victim. Camaraza was subsequently arrested and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center for central booking.
