Woman Arrested for Attempted Robbery on G-Train in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – Natasha Neal, a 30-year-old resident of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with attempted robbery on Wednesday.

The arrest was made at approximately 9:30 a.m. by the New York City Police Department. Neal is accused of attempting to rob a 23-year-old woman on a northbound G-train on Thursday, July 27.

The incident occurred as the train approached the Bedford–Nostrand Avenues subway station. Neal allegedly attempted to snatch the victim’s cell phone but was unsuccessful. She then proceeded to punch the victim in the head and pull her hair before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries but declined medical attention.

Neal is described as a female with a medium complexion, approximately 5’5″ tall, and weighing around 120 pounds. She has numerous tattoos on her torso and was last seen wearing a white sports top, dark-colored jeans, and blue and white sneakers.

The New York City Police Department is still seeking information related to this case.
