GRAND JUNCTION, CO – On Monday, at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department were dispatched to Woodspring Suites at 659 Market Street after receiving reports of an unresponsive male. The man, found with a suspected knife wound, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a report, “A 32-year-old pregnant woman in Colorado is accused of killing her boyfriend, stabbing him and cutting off his penis following an argument over whether or not he was the father of her future child.”
Following an immediate investigation, 32-year-old Shenting Guo was identified as a suspect. She was arrested and has been charged with Murder in the Second Degree. Guo is currently being held at the Mesa County Detention Facility. Details surrounding the incident are still under investigation, with no additional information currently available.
The Mesa County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased once appropriate notifications have been made. The Grand Junction Police Department has stated that they believe this incident to be isolated.
