Woman Arrested for DUI After Striking Fire Hydrant

CAMBRIDGE, MD – On Monday, August 1, at around 1:02 am, CPD Officers responded to a call on the 1100 block of Washington St regarding an unconscious person in a car.

Jenah Leigh Durant, a 35-year-old from Felton, was found in a vehicle that had veered off the road and struck a fire hydrant.

After providing initial medical attention, Durant informed officers she had taken Percocet.

Durant failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Test and was subsequently arrested.

She faces multiple charges, including driving while impaired by a controlled substance, and negligent driving.
