Woman Arrested for Stabbing in Utica

Utica, NY – Utica Police and Utica Fire units responded to a stabbing investigation on the 500 block of Eagle St late Friday night. A victim with arm and hand injuries revealed that Sheryl Gary, 57, assaulted her with a kitchen knife during an argument.

The victim was taken to Wynn Hospital for treatment while Gary was arrested and transported to the Utica Police Department where she was charged with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.
