Woman Arrested for Walmart Theft and Providing False Identity

CAMBRIDGE, MD – On Saturday, September 3, at around 11:45 am, Officers from the Cambridge Police Department arrested Bernadean Latrice Morgan, a 29-year-old resident of Cambridge, in the 600 block of Greenwood Ave.

Morgan was served a Criminal Summons at the station. The charges against Morgan are related to a theft incident that occurred on August 25, at Walmart.

Officers responded to a shoplifting report and met with Asset Protection Officers who had detained a female subject. Initially, the woman provided a false name but was later identified as Morgan.

Morgan faces multiple charges including burglary 4th degree theft, fraud person identity to avoid prosecution, and theft ranging from $100 to under $1,500.

The Cambridge Police Department is investigating the case and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
