Woman calls 911 after shots fired outside home in parking disagreement

Brooklyn Park, MD – A parking disagreement turned dangerous Thursday night when shots were fired outside a residence in Brooklyn Park, prompting a police investigation into what authorities have classified as a non-contact shooting.

The incident occurred on August 14 at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the 5200 block of Patrick Henry Drive. According to investigators, a 29-year-old woman became involved in an argument over a parking matter. She then returned to her residence, where she soon heard multiple gunshots outside.

The woman called 911, and officers responded to the scene. While no one was struck by the gunfire and no property damage was reported, officers recovered three shell casings and one live round from the area.
