Woman Charged for Deadly Stabbing in Manhattan

New York, NY – On Sunday, at approximately 3:39 PM, police responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing near West 147th Street and Frederick Douglas Boulevard in the 32nd Precinct.

Upon arrival, officers found a 47-year-old male, Alejandro Santos, unconscious and unresponsive with stab wounds. EMS transported Santos to NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem, where he was pronounced deceased.

A person was taken into custody, and the investigation remains ongoing.

On Monday, May 13, at 2:00 PM, within the confines of the 32nd Precinct, Michelle Hernandez, a 44-year-old female from Manhattan, NY, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the incident.
