Woman, daughter beaten and robbed by group of female muggers in Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, NY – A woman and her daughter were beaten by a group of female suspects in the area of 78 Fort Place in Staten Island last Sunday. Today, police released photos of the suspects and are asking the public to assist in identifying the attackers.

Police reported that the attack occurred blocks from the Staten Island Ferry terminal in the St. George section of Staten Island at around 7 am.

“A group of unknown female individuals approached a 38-year-old female victim and her 21-year-old daughter,” detectives with the 120th Precinct said. “The unknown individuals punched the two female victims in the face multiple times and forcibly removed the 38-year-old female victim’s purse containing a wallet and 100 dollars.”

The suspects fled the scene. The victims refused medical treatment.
