Woman facing additional charges in shooting death of 16-year-old Kevin Wilson

WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Authorities have filed additional charges in the March 31, 2024, shooting death of 16-year-old Kevin Wilson, bringing the total number of suspects facing homicide charges to four, Allegheny County Police announced Friday.

Omar Campbell, 19, and Eugene Camp, 22, are the latest to be charged and are currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail. They join previously arrested suspects Kira Jackson, 23, and Alicia Johnson, 23, both of Pittsburgh, who were charged earlier with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and carrying a firearm without a license.

Wilson was shot at approximately 10:21 p.m. in the 600 block of Hill Avenue. Police said he was not involved in the initial altercation that led to gunfire near Hill Avenue and Hay Street, where investigators recovered 15 shell casings from multiple firearms.

Jackson was taken into custody and remains jailed pending arraignment, while detectives continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
