Woman killed in Baltimore shooting

BALTIMORE, MD — A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was shot and killed Tuesday evening in Baltimore’s Central District.

At approximately 5:56 p.m. on March 18, officers responded to the 700 block of East Preston Street for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, they found a 31-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. She was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
