BALTIMORE, MD — A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was fatally shot in Baltimore’s Western District on Sunday night.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at approximately 9:06 p.m. They found an unidentified female suffering from a gunshot wound and immediately attempted life-saving measures. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
