PORTLAND, OR – Portland police today reported that they found a woman dead on Sunday on the Eastbank Esplanade.
According to police, “At 11:43 p.m., officers from the Central Precinct were dispatched to a report of a shooting on the Eastbank Esplanade at Southeast Salmon Street. When officers arrived they located a female who was deceased.”
The department said one person has been detained as part of the investigation.
