Harrisburg man charged after woman found with brain bleed days after alleged assault
HARRISBURG, PA – A 61-year-old man was arrested Monday after a woman was discovered with multiple bruises and a brain bleed two days after an alleged assault on State Street.
Booker T. Hosch, 61, of Harrisburg, was charged with one count of aggravated assault, a felony of the first degree, in connection with the incident, according to authorities. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The charges stem from an incident in the 1800 block of State Street. Hosch was identified as the individual accused of assaulting an adult female victim.
The victim suffered multiple bruises across her body and a brain bleed. According to police, it is believed she did not receive medical attention for two days following the alleged assault. Medical care was obtained after an uninvolved party located the victim and transported her to a local hospital.
Hosch was arrested Monday. Additional details regarding the circumstances of the assault were not released.
