Woman Injured in D.C. Stabbing; Suspect Arrested

WASHINGTON, DC – A woman was injured in a stabbing incident in Northwest D.C., which led to the arrest of a 48-year-old man, Commandise Parker. The Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District detectives reported the incident that occurred on Park Road.

The altercation between Parker and the victim happened on Wednesday afternoon, around 4:59 pm, on the 1400 block of Park Road, Northwest. During the argument, Parker allegedly used a knife to stab the victim. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services provided on-scene treatment for the victim’s injuries.

Responding officers were able to apprehend Parker shortly after the incident. He has been charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) and currently has no fixed address. The case is ongoing, and further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
