Woman Injured in Sexual Assault in Manassas

MANASSAS, MD – The Prince William County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate a suspect wanted for a sexual assault in Manassas over the weekend.

According to police, between 11:30 p.m. on Friday and 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, a 35-year-old woman was attacked while walking near Fairmont Avenue and Anvil Drive. The suspect, described as a Hispanic or Asian man with a slim build and short spiked hair, forced the woman into a nearby wooded area, where the assault took place.

The victim managed to escape and alerted the authorities around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. Officials have urged anyone with information about the incident or suspect to contact the department at (703) 792.700.
