Woman killed in Buffalo apartment stabbing, police investigating possible domestic incident

Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Saturday afternoon at the Pine Harbor Apartments on Seventh Street. Officials said officers responded shortly after 3:30 p.m., where a woman was found critically injured.

According to a department statement, the victim was transported by AMR to Erie County Medical Center but was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Homicide detectives are treating the case as a potential domestic incident.

Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity pending family notification. Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to call or text the department’s confidential tip line at 716-847-2255.
