Chesapeake, VA — Chesapeake Police officers are investigating a suicide that occurred on the Jordan Bridge.
On Sunday at approximately 8:41 p.m., officers responded to the Jordan Bridge following a call reporting that someone had jumped from the bridge. Upon arrival, officers located the individual and retrieved her from the water. She was transported by ambulance and pronounced dead at the hospital. The deceased is an adult female.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
