SILVER SPRING, Md. — Metro Transit Police are investigating a sexual assault after a woman was reportedly raped early Wednesday at the Silver Spring Transit Center.
Officers responded to the scene shortly after 1 a.m. after getting a call about the assault. According to the victim, the suspect—who is known to her—had interacted with her earlier in the day and later found her at the transit center, where the attack occurred.
