Woman Rescued from Overturned Car After D.C. Crash

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A woman was hospitalized after being trapped in an overturned car following a three-car collision in Northeast D.C. on Monday morning.

The D.C. Fire and EMS Department reported that crews responded to the crash at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Irving Street NW around 10 a.m. Firefighters successfully extricated the woman from the vehicle, and she was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with details yet to be determined. Authorities are looking into the circumstances leading up to the collision.
