LAUREL, MD – A woman was robbed inside a Laurel motel bathroom after a male who was in the room with her forced her by gunpoint.
According to police, On Saturday, at approximately 8:10 a.m., officers responded to a robbery of a citizen at Motel 6 located at 3510 Old Annapolis Road in Laurel.
“The adult female victim was in a room with a male suspect who displayed a handgun and forced her into the bathroom,” the Anne Arundel County Police reported. “The suspect then removed cash and credit cards from the victim’s purse and fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The victim did not report any injuries.”
The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black balaclava, black coat, and black jeans
