Woman Robbed of Cell Phone on NYC Subway Platform

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking information about an individual wanted in connection with a grand larceny incident.

The event occurred on Sunday, August 20, at approximately 1:20 p.m. near Junction Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue.

A 78-year-old female was approached from behind by an unidentified individual who removed her cellphone from her bag while she waited for a “7” train.

The individual is described as a male with a medium complexion and build, aged between 30 to 35. He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, dark-colored pants, a red baseball hat, and carrying a blue bookbag.
