Woman robbed of suitcase, bank cards in Newark

NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Police Department is searching for a suspect wanted for a robbery last month. Today, police released a photo of the suspect.

The Newark Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred on March 6. The female victim reported being robbed of a suitcase containing $700 and bank cards at Fleming Avenue and Schalk Street.

Detectives investigating this incident describe the suspect as a heavyset black male.
