Woman screamed for help after being stabbed multiple times in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – A 30-year-old woman is in the hospital in critical condition today after being stabbed multiple times early this morning.  Police say there is currently no suspect and are asking the community for possible witnesses to step forward and help find the person who stabbed the woman.

“Today, February 8, 2021, at 4:41am, officers responded to the area of 2231 Medina Ave. on a female screaming for help,” the Columbus Police Department reported. “Officers located the victim, 30-year-old Keona Keese, suffering from numerous stab wounds to the head, face and wrist.
Officers rendered first aid to the victim’s many wounds.”

Police said Keese was transported to a local hospital in critical life-threatening condition. She was upgraded to critical condition and is expected to survive the injuries. There is no suspect information at this time.
