Woman shot and killed inside Baltimore residence, cops hunt killer

Baltimore, MD — A woman died Thursday morning after being shot inside a home on Boone Street in the city’s Eastern District, police reported.

Officers responded around 7:24 a.m. to the 2000 block of Boone Street after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found an unresponsive adult female inside the residence with an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly afterward.

Homicide detectives have not released the woman’s identity or provided information on any potential suspects or a motive in the deadly shooting.
