Woman slashed in face during Harlem attack

New York City, NY – A woman was slashed across the face by an unknown suspect in Harlem on Thursday.

According to police, at approximately 8:00 p.m., in front of 2056 5th Avenue, an unidentified individual approached a 40-year-old female victim. The assailant proceeded to slash the victim’s face using a cutting instrument. Following the attack, the suspect swiftly fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene and provided immediate treatment to the victim.
