Woman struck and killed in North Versailles

PITTSBURGH – The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit and Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to a request for assistance in North Versailles.

At approximately 6:29 pm on February 7, 2022, County 9-1-1 was notified of a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash in the 1700 block of Lincoln Highway. First responders found a female victim who was struck by a vehicle. She was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene. Homicide detectives and collision reconstruction officers initiated an investigation.
