Washington, DC – A woman who was shot Wednesday morning in Northeast has died, and police are still searching for the person responsible.

Just after 11 a.m. on August 13, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 3300 block of 15th Street, Northeast. They found the victim unconscious but breathing, suffering from gunshot wounds. She was transported to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead despite medical efforts.

No arrests have been made. Investigators are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
