Woman sought in connection with $1,100 lottery voucher taken from East Liberty gas station
PITTSBURGH, PA — Investigators are searching for a woman who they say walked away with a lottery voucher worth more than $1,100 that didn’t belong to her, and now detectives are hoping someone recognizes her from surveillance photos.
The incident happened on October 18 at a gas station in East Liberty. According to Pittsburgh Police, the woman is suspected of taking possession of the winning voucher, which had been left behind by its rightful owner.
Plainclothes detectives from Zone 5 are handling the investigation and released two images showing the unidentified woman captured on camera inside the gas station. Police have not revealed additional details about how the voucher was obtained or whether the woman attempted to cash it.
