Yardley Police Arrest Jenkintown Man for DUI

YARDLEY, PA – The Yardley Borough Police Department reported a DUI arrest that took place on December 20, 2023, at approximately 9:04 AM. The incident occurred on W. Afton Avenue near Penn Valley Drive.

A Yardley Police officer, while on patrol, was dispatched to a report of an unresponsive man in a Toyota Sedan. Upon arrival, the officer, with assistance from LMTPD officers, forced entry into the vehicle and awakened the driver. Subsequent investigation provided probable cause that the driver was operating under the influence and had been driving unsafely before stopping.

The 22-year-old driver from Jenkintown, PA, was arrested, processed, and the vehicle was impounded. He has been charged with DUI offenses and released pending a court appearance.
