Jersey City, NJ – The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
The Jersey City Police Department received a report of shots fired in the area of Audubon Avenue and College Street just after 12:40 a.m. Responding officers found a male with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, identified as David Jones, 24, was pronounced dead at Jersey City Medical Center around 1:35 a.m.
